South Australian Government Online Accessibility Policy and Toolkit

1:30pm Thursday 14 November (Stream One)

To coincide with Global Accessibility Awareness Day on 16 May 2019, the South Australian Government launched its new Online Accessibility Policy and Toolkit at accessibility.sa.gov.au.

This toolkit has been co-designed with leading accessibility specialists, government, the community, not-for-profit organisations, the private sector and people with disability to ensure they have a leading role in shaping policies and creating programs which influence their lives.

The result is a best practice model, designed entirely around user need, and includes achieving Plain English Campaign’s seal of excellence (an Internet Crystal Mark).

Hear about the journey, development and next steps.
